No one is happy with status quo. No one is happy with mediocrity or 8-8. What will it take for you morons to get that??

The difference is you think bitching about something you have no control over and don't even have a dime in, makes you a true fan or informed message poster.

I think that the constant whining is annoying and say so. I have the right to my opinion as well, even if it involves you.

I do have a dime in it and actually can tell you when they are going to run a draw on third and 14 and will usually discuss it with other PSL owners around me during the game. Do I always agree with it? Of course not. But I am not so arrogant to assume I could do better.

Would I do the same? Not likely. I am actually a blitzing risk taking kind of guy philosophically as football goes. I like coaches who go for it on 4th down inside their 50. I like fake punts especially when they work. I would rather have a Sean McDermott kind of guy in here as HC than Fox.

But I digress...........

I don't agree with Fox on lots of things but I do respect the fact that he knows a ton more about football and has a much larger stake in this than I. And I try to understand the logic and rationale whether I agree with it or not, rather than just reject it with trite trendy comments.

I also recorgnize that I was a fan well before Fox and will be one long after he is gone. Perhaps our real difference is that I have been around long enough to know that things will change and Fox will be gone soon enough. I can wait another year. Perhaps I lack the unbridled rage of youth as I grow older and wiser. I was like that and still can be that way when I have a strong stake in something.

If anything you are the arrogant one. You propose to know more than a group of well considered football experts. You naively assume you could do a better job yet likely have never coached at any level. You like to take potshots at everyone and everybody yet you wouldn't have a clue your self.

Me arrogant? Only in the sense that I don't suffer fools lightly.

Good, stay pissed off and smoke 3 packs of ciggs a day, drink a lot and stay on a high fast food and heavy sugar diets. you wont live pissed off very long.

I know what I said you, obviously you need comprehension lessons. So let me explain it for you, Lucy.........If you own tickets then protest by not going to games. If you don't, then your statement about people not going to the game is irrelevant since you have no stake in the matter. In any case whining on a message board is a waste of time.

Do something constructive. Go on an email campaign, start up a website, do a petition like AKPantherfan. Otherwise just sit around and whine and complain while you pat yourself on the back and tell yourself what a great true fan you are.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to panthers55 again.

I'm glad that I am not a fan of a franshise that can't see the forest for the trees.

Too many teams in today's NFL have become so jumpy that it's now starting to allow other teams to become more stable and consistantly make the playoffs. It surprises me how so many fans will tell you how great the salary cap is and how they love FA and the system that NFL has set up compared to other leagues. But then they will also complain when their own team isn't in the playoffs every year.

Based on the system, Fox or any other coach shouldn't be able to have back to back winning seasons. To accomplish this really is a special feet. The problem the Panthers have run into is that the division we are in hasn't had a long run of teams being consistantly bad and a high turnover rate within the coaching ranks for years.

Honestly speaking, if the Panthers were in the NFC West and Fox had operated the same way he did, the Panthers are probably looking at 5 consecutive division titles, winning seasons and playoff appearences. Would that mean that Fox shouldn't or wouldn't be critizied? Maybe some still would be critizing him but not at the same level they are right now.

The bottom line is that this organization isn't turning a deaf ear to the complaints of the fan base. But that doesn't mean they are going to allow the mob to make decissions. And I'm happy they don't.

How so? My sig says I am for accuracy in whining and bitching. I don't like it at all but recognize it is inevitable. So if it is going to go on ad nauseum, then it needs to be legitimate and accurate. No irony at all.

Want me to sign you up for those comprehension lessons also??

There are lots of PSL owners who don't know much about football either. Just watch them do the wave when we are on offense. LOL:biggrin:
