Before everyone gets too excited about Moore...

How do you know Jake wasn't starting based on pressure from the big cat? It's possible Fox was just being a good minion and taking the heat.

This actually makes sense, and I've often wondered about this throughout teh season. It's probably the only plausible reason that Fox would keep Delhomme as a starter despite the obvious. It's probably the reason that Fox is ticked off about going into next season w/o an extension, especially if he was following his marching orders from JR and taking the heat from the fans for it.

Coach Mike Singletary, speaking Monday on the heels of a disappointing 8-8 finish, said he saw "steady progress" from Smith and that he would remain the starter heading into the offseason. Yet Singletary didn't rule out signing another quarterback.

All Fox has to do is say this about Matt Moore and he would make things SSSOOO much smoother.

The Big Cat may be old, but he isn't senile. He didn't get this rich, and get where he is today by making such stupid decisions.

I think he takes a hands off approach until he deems it necessary to do other wise. That is why he hires, or chooses to fire who work for him. That is their job to do, and I really believe he allows them to do it. He isn't Art Davis, or Daniel Deep Pockets Snyder, that want to control every aspect, even on game day on the sidelines.

He's never shown to be that kind of owner.

It was sarcasm you wicked wretch. He's always tried to paint a pretty picture, and you know how people trip over their heels for what they call "art". Sorry, didn't know you and Al were on a first name basis.

Go back to bed now. :D
