right now, i would rank them:

1. rosario

2. barnidge

3. king

Rosario has really put on muscle and stepped up his blocking game. He can play full back as well. He has better hands, better moves, and more speed than King.

Barnidge has tremendous up-side with his play making ability. Although I would almost rather see him used as a slot receiver than a TE. We have enough people who can block with the hoover, fiametta, rosario, and king, what we need are play makers. I say we make barnidge essentially our #3 WR, regardless of where he lines up.

King is a good blocker, has solid hands, and excellent work ethic. However, he is the most expendable of the three. Rosario is more versatile and Barnidge has the big-play abililty.

EDIT: post #420 :sifone:

Keep all. If Moore is the qb he'll spread the ball around and almost all 3 will have their part. King is a good blocker (if you can handle the 4-5 false starts a game) and the other two guys can stretch the field. Rosario is almost just a WR like Plaxico or Vincent Jackson, I think Barnidge could be out main TE though for the future.

Right now, King is the best blocker of the 3 as far as I understand - and since we're a run first offense he's not expendable @ the moment. Since Rosario has been known to play fullback when needed, I would image he's the 2nd best blocker of the 3 at the moment.

Barnidge and Rosario are clearly the best downfield receiving threats of the three, so given all the Rosario appears to be the most versatile @ the moment. If this was a pass-first offense I'd imagine Rosario would get the bulk of the playing time.

Rosario and King are proven blockers and pass catchers. King has good hands but not very fast or athletic. he's one of those kris mangum/brad hoover types that can stay on the team for a long time. I wouldnt mind seeing what barnidge could do with Moore passing him the ball. that said i'd love to see a playmaker that can stretch the field at either TE or WR spots.
