Do you think the Panthers will move?

Here's the key point: The Panthers won't move because they own their stadium. Moving the team would cost the owner hundreds of millions of dollars. BTW, when we talk about Raleigh getting a team, how many southern cities are larger and don't have a team yet? Richmond, Memphis, Birmingham, and San Antonio come to mind. However, I would like to see the Panthers do more for fans here in Raleigh, as well as South Carolina fans. Maybe have one preseason game a year outside of Charlotte, to rotate to different cities in the Carolinas? Or work with Amtrak to start a Raleigh to Greensboro to Charlotte line that coincides with game times on Sundays, and leaves some time for tailgating as well. There could be a Colombia to Greenville to Charlotte line in the south.

I think they already do runs to GSO and I'm pretty sure I remember hearing about plans to take it to the Triangle. A new railroad station is in the works for Charlotte as part of a revitalization project, which it needs badly.

FYI-

My friend and his customers came down on Amtrak from Raleigh to Charlotte for the Eagles game. It only cost him like $50 for a ticket round trip. Something like a 4 hour train ride. They drank the whole way down and slept the whole way back. Said he'd do it again in a heartbeat.

I think the Panthers are fine where they are either way if it were to move to Raleigh i wouldnt mind im not gonna disown them. I do however feel the Bobcats should move closer to the Triangle due to the popularity of basketball in itself around that area not to mention they have Tarheels and now Dukies on the team.

Move the Bobcats to somewhere like Greensboro not too far of a drive from Charlotte or Raleigh/Durham. Just keep it out of Charlotte cause its not getting better and keep it out of the Triangle due to the college scene (dont really wanna take away from one of the biggest college basketball areas in the country)

But back on subject I feel the Panthers are fine where they are not too far from Blacksburg, VA
