lame attempt

no respect for the for the guy who outplayed joe flacco, will go down as one of the best FCS/I-AA Qbs in history. Only QB in D-1 history to surpass 4,000 yds rushing (5.8ypa 65Tds) and 10,000 yds Passing (65.1% 74Tds 33Int)

139 Total Tds... Don't knock the guy just because you've only watched him play twice.

The question was, if he would be a good pick for the panthers. Id love to see him here but I don't think it will happen.

Ahole

I don't 100% buy Armanti as an NFL starting quarterback personally, but I do know that he's capable of rapid growth and progression as a player. He was pretty raw when he took over the starting QB position in 2006, but he improved as a passer every season. By 2009, I would almost argue that he was more of a Jeff Garcia type-accurate on short and mid range passes, throws well on the run, good pocket presence-but with a more accurate deep ball and a bigger threat to run.

No, I am not comparing him directly to Jeff Garcia or saying that he'll be a starting Pro Bowl quarterback or whatever.

I was at that game and remembered the play mentioned in the third paragraph. It looked like he was just going to get chased out of bounds near midfield, but at the last second he put up a bomb and hit Brian Quick (I think) right in the hands in the endzone.
