He's been decent the times before. The real problem was the contract and letting him play after playing so badly.

I don't remember much about 2008, but I seriously doubt that in he was going into the 2009 season starting over Mario Williams or Antonio Smith.

regarding mark jones, i don't think keeping him would've done poo. jones was a downhill player, and after the wedge was illegalized, his skill set wouldn't have been particularly useful. i'm not disappointed.

Manning was last with the Rams in 2008, not played since then.

Whoever said McClover is 'doing good things' and 'starting' is misguided. The guy APPEARED in one game in 2008 and has not been seen since then.
