Browns targeting Fox, and we could get Picks!

I don't see Fox taking orders from a guy like Holmgren well. He's been in charge of this organization in every way since he's been here. As far as I know, he and Hurney have never butted heads whatsoever. That wouldn't be the case if he had to listen to Mike Holmgren.

But I'll go dance a naked jig down the street if we somehow got picks for Fox. That would be amazing.

or Eric Berry

We could use a stud at anyone of those positions: QB, DT, Safety

definitely need a top 5 pick to get one of them, or Clausen over Bradford?

Ugh it'd be so awesome if we got that pick, the possibilities are endless..

Gerald McCoy

Berry(although I bet he goes top 3-4)

Joe Haden

Dez Bryant

Bradford

Clausen

All of those would likely be available to us. Not even mentioning we could trade up several picks and still get some awesome players.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

alright I'm getting way too excited for something that won't happen :(

They key to this is that Fox and Holmgren have the same agent... so Fox's agent is using this whole Cleveland thing as leverage for getting an extension from the Panthers.... it's the oldest play in the book.

Maybe the "I see myself back here next year..." was a leverage statement to get $$$ from Cleveland.

Huddle scooped the Observer. Shocking.

I think Fox would rather play out the last year of his contract. He has basically assembled the team as he wants it with a few missing pieces. I don't see why he would want to start over with the crappy Browns.

I have to say 2 1st round picks does sound pretty nice. But Hurney has to stay.

We are talking about the same guy that says and I quote "Delhomme gives us the best chance to win"

I think I can stand to see some of "his" assembled team dissapear!

Possibly, but I'd guess Fox would rather stay put given the choice. There was also a report in NFL.com sighting Fox's agent as saying Fox would only return to the Panthers if he got an extension... so it seems his agent's focus is on making the Panthers chase him.
