Before I start, this is based off 2010 being uncapped. Since it'll be uncapped, we can sign/tag whoever we want if Jerry wants to pay for it, no penalties etc.

Do you think Peppers might hold out for the franchise tag? There is no chance he'll get a long term contract that will pay him 20 million for one year like the franchise tag would, and if he feels like Carolina would franchise him if he didn't sign a long-term do you think he's the type of person who'd hold out for that big paycheck?
