I see that Bally was trending topic last night on Musks over priced chat room. Seems no one who pays for the app could log on…….disaster of a company

I am one of said people. Terrible. I was able to watch the first period on my phone, then nothing.

Seems their app is again fuged. Twice in three days tells me they have cut costs somewhere and it’s leading to a disaster

So, at $19.99 per month to watch all Hurricane games, home and away.... maybe, it it's working.

Or, go with a VPN and watch all the games on ESPN+ and choose the home or away broadcast, probably for much less than what Bally charges.

I'm just not tech savvy enough to know VPN and having to change server locations to get the games and have to switch back to a local closer server to get my local channels? I'd really need a major tutorial to make all that happen.

What's made this harder is location services.  A lot of streaming apps now require you to have location services turned on and shared before the app will load.  Fubo requires you to set a home network, but allows a mobile device to be moved to other locations.  That means on your phone, you'll get the regional content where the phone is, but a smart TV taken out of it's home network will not work. 

I share all this to say streaming services are starting to use more criteria to locate you, which makes it more difficult to spoof where you are.  It can be done, but now for a lot of apps you're looking at a VPN service and a way to spoof your location.

Bally Sports down again tonight. Not seeing the Ranger game.

This is the last straw, Bally just lost a paying customer. I’ll go back to my illegal box and watch it there. Nothing is working, iPhone, Xbox, android app, nothing. I payed $200 for this $hit. Adios.

Yeah, I'll be cancelling tomorrow as well. I don't have a backup plan, though, so I'll be looking for something.

Direct TV and spectrum carry Bally. Both probably $80 a month as a TV service.

If you need help with the VPN technology and ESPN+ I can help.  (ESPN + now $10.99 a month, VPN $4)

I find it disgusting that dedicated fans can’t get to watch their team. Really fugs me off.

Yes, unfortunately it is usually the opponents broadcast, so I have to endure tons of Ranger homerism, and no Tripp, Mike, or Hanna Yates.

putting this here too for people that are still having issues with the Bally App. 
 

Reset the app from your phone or computer on a browser not the Bally application, go to manage devices in your account page, delete what ever you were using the application via and re-log in/authenticate on your TV or phone app via the www.ballysports/activate link. That’s what worked for me.

Yeah I’m a YouTube tv guy. However the ESPN+ sounds like a possibility. I’ll miss Tripp, Mike, and Hannah, oh and the hope of seeing my Marley Drug girl again. Oh well, one can dream.
