Panthers have a real shot at a Super Bowl title

No better time to be a Panthers fan ladies and Gentlemen. I was just checking out the playoff schedule for next week and seeing who Carolina will possibly play in two weeks at home.

It's gunna be either Atlanta, Arizona, or Minnesota. Philly will play the Giants guaranteed if they win. Panthers have gotta like their chances against all those teams in the second round. All teams they faced in the regular season, they beat Atlanta and Arizona, and the game was close up in the Metrodome against Minnesota. I'd like their chances in a rematch.

Then the possibility looms of a rematch against the Giants. After an OT defeat in Week 16, a rematch would be all the Panthers could ask for in revenging a close loss. This is shaping up to be a big postseason.

Arizona will stun the Falcons.

Eagles will beat Minnesota because you take McNabb over Jackson to carry his team to victory. I don't think the Eagles will get sliced up by the Vikings' running game.

Giants don't want to face the Eagles, any more than I'm sure the Panthers don't want to face the Falcons.

I can easily see the Eagles beating the Giants and giving the Panthers two home playoff games if they take out the Cardinals.

You Really think the Cardinals will stun the falcons? Cmon man they haven't played a single game of defense in the past six games, their star quarterback the supposed front runner for the MVP a couple of weeks back gets benched, you really think they have a chance against ATL, yeah they are at home but i dont really see the Falcons losing to Arizona.... just my opinion

Warner did not get "benched" in that game. Conditions in the snow were terrible, the game was over, the Cards were not playing for anything. They pulled Warner to make sure he did not get hurt.

I'd put my money on the two vistiting teams to win their playoff games.

Philadelphia is flying high after destroying the once feared Cowboys. Minnesota barely scraped by the Giants backups. I don't think any team is scared of Tavaris Jackson. The wildcard here is Adrian Peterson. If he turns it on, this is a Minnesota win. But Philly's speedy defense will try to contain him any way they can and I would bet they will slow him down enough to force Tavaris Jackson to make plays, and when talking about Tavaris Jackson that means forcing him to make mistakes. Philly takes this one easily.

Atlanta is a strong team despite the close game against St. Louis. Arizona struggles to stop the run and Michael Turner will have a big game. Matt Ryan will make a few plays. All Atlanta needs to do to win is force Kurt Warner into making some bad decisions, and with John Abraham and the pass rush they have, I fully expect a convincing Atlanta win. Atlanta @ Carolina in second round.

The second round could pit two matchups with teams that are very familiar with each other. The Giants would not be thrilled facing a strong Eagles team that beat them on their home turf earlier this year. Of course I'd rather the Panthers face the Tavaris Jackson led Vikings or Arizona than Atlanta, but I don't see it happening. They will get a chance to revenge the drubbing Atlanta gave them in the dome weeks back. The second round should be better than the first.

I think the Cardinals don't stand a chance against the Falcons. Atlanta is putting it all together at the right time. I think they'll go in there and beat Arizona like they stole something.

The Iggles/Vikings game will be a good one to watch. I give the edge to Philly. So...I think we'll be playing the Falcons in Charlotte in a couple of weeks.

Ew! I don't like that one bit. I do believe we'll step up and protect our house...I just don't like playing a team that beat us so easily a few weeks ago.

Panthers / Falcons

Giants / Eagles

Panthers/Giants in the NFC Championship game. That winner will play the winner of the

Colts/Ravens game in the AFC.

this years playoffs could be very exciting, i see Atlanta taking the win over the cardinals, though i wouldn't mind Arizona taking the win. Minnesota better hope for one hell of a game, but I would like to see them win. Either way after seeing us play the giants, im fine with a rematch but would much rather have that 2nd home game and seein the giants take the loss in the first playoff game for them. either way with 2 weeks to rest up i am hoping that black and blue ride into the Superbowl and walk away with it this time, 2008 is our season
