Matt Moore is going to be the next Tom Brady. But he could be Derick Anderson and suck worse than Jake this year.

derek anderson was inconsistent even in his good year(which was only as good as jake's best)..he had two big games against cincy and st. louis which both sucked, and he had a healthy amount of crappy games sprinkled in between those...You want to draft a QB? Since your looking at Anderson just look at what it did to him..he never got to really develop as a starter after that first year since all the fans booed him for Brady Quinn..He had his chances but obviously competition from a fan loved rookie didn't help him like many people think it would..

Now,Matt Moore has a better team around him, played well through a 3 game stretch which is better then Anderson ever did, and it was against playoff potential teams as well...

I probably shouldn't waste my time but I'm sure there are plenty with your doubts and I just don't see why he can't get his chance without some rookie QB(or maybe even Jake if the FO pressure to put him back in if Matt falters is just too great)breathing down his neck...It obviously ruined Anderson and hopefully Moore will get his chance without such controversy..

Matt should start next year. But I wouldnt mind doing what the Packers did for years by drafting a late-round QB every year...or maybe every other year.

No, i mean when they had Favre, but drafted guys like Aaron Brooks, don't laugh, and Matt Hasselbeck in the late rounds and developed them, then traded them--i believe. I think it would be a good move as insurance and something we should have done years ago.

Matt Moore of 2009 = Derek Anderson of 2007... what a hell of a season, as for the QB himself... well Anderson looked good for 1 year and now he will be lucky to find a starting job. Lets just not over-hype this people, c'mon.

DRAFT A QB PROSPECT!

Let Moore start but dont crown him as the answer yet... I honestly dont think he is the future of Carolina Ball. He had some good throws yes, but also some very lucky breaks and dropped INTs.

You could throw that same crap against the wall and see if it sticks concerning ANY young QB.
