Yeah I mean there are a few that would probably be derserving if you think back, and as well as present... You have Kasay,Walls,Greene,Minter,Muhammad,Rucker,Hoover,Smith,Peppers, and maybe Frank Garcia, and Eric Davis, and Jenkins.. Some that I think will evenually fall into that role would be Williams, Stewart, Beason, Gross, Davis. I also liked Steve Beuerlein, but Delhomme has been the best quarterback we've had this far.

I'm not going to try and fight with you or say that NFL.com is wrong.

But based on the information I know of, there are no numbers officailly retired by the Panthers organization. Panthers.com even done a special on it two off-seasons ago about how the equipment manager is the one who decides what numbers rookies and new players get and that he wouldn't give out the number 51 even though it wasn't officially retired.

Also, on Panthers.com there is nothing mentioning the number 51 being retired, only that Sam Mills is inducted in the hall of honnor and has a statue outside the stadium.

Unofficially it might be regarded as retired but it isn't officially. IMO, it should be retired officially and as I stated before it is the only number I think is deserving of being retired at this point.
