Thomas played better this season than Kemo ever did. Besides, it's still unknown whether or not Kemo will be effective after returning from his injury. Lewis is a keeper for sure, he's the only DT that has been around and been consistent for us through the whole thing. He has also improved a lot over the past two seasons. I'm most excited to see Leonard back on the field, though. He made an impression with little playing time before his injury.

HT did seem to be more effective than Kemo, I seemed to see him in on a lot more plays actually making tackles whereas with Kemo, he just seems to take up a couple of blockers, but not do much else. I'd love to see Kemo, HT and Lewis back next season and rotate all three of them.

Lewis and Kemo will be here in 2010. They both have a 9.3 option bonus due in 2010 which if exercised continues their contracts through 2014. If not exercised the contracts expire after the 2010 season. If we exercise it, it won't hurt us since 2010 will be without a cap and the terms are cap friendlly the rest of the way. if we don't exercise it then one or both are free agents after 2010.

No way that Kemo and Thomas are both gone. You saw how bad we were without A Big Fat Guy in the middle. HT and Kemo are the only true Fat Guys on the team.
