Trgo

the funniest thing about the trgovac hate was watching people try to rationalize the team's defensive success while he was the DC

"well you see it's the tide of support and the remnants of del rio that um, uh, hey look at the kitten."

Trgo wasn't a likable guy. Kind of had a chip on his shoulder, in fact.

Really...I never would have guessed that. Hell, maybe I was wrong about him. Maybe Fox had to step in those last years because the players didn't like / weren't responding to him.

Shows what I know. Still though, he did have some pretty good years.

late last year was a massive collapse. We haven't seen that in a long time here defensively. Went from a top 10 D to finishing 18th, which means we were one of the worst defenses in the league at the end.

That's a pretty big issue.

Other than that, no concerns really. I appreciate his time here overall, and he left a much better legacy than did Henning.

And there was a massive exodus by the defensive coaching staff at the end of the year as well. Still not sold on it being all Trgo's fault.

Trgo wasn't a likable guy. Kind of had a chip on his shoulder, in fact. But my point in making this thread is maybe the blame for last year shouldn't have been put in his lap the way it was. He's certainly a LOT better than Crossman.

I'd have taken him back here as a D-Line coach, happily.

As a DC though? In over his head. Hence the need for Fox to meddle.

Coaches are often like water. Given time, they find the proper level.
