The Perfect Offseason for me...

1. We release Jake. Take the cap hit, I don't care. He is done, finished, over..anybody that signs this guy for anything other the Min needs to be fired. I knew Jake was done when he missed Smitty on a smoke route by like 5 yards..

2. We trade Peppers to the Bills(or someone in that area) for a first round pick, and draft Dez Bryant. I hate people that don't go hard 24/7. I understand having a bad game, but to pick and choose when you want to show up and play football? Give Moore help... Dwayne Jarret caught a TD...he is still a bust imo

3. Resign Moore (obviously), and bring in Jason Campbell. Moore should be the starting going into, and after camp, but JC can backup Moore. This way, even if we keep Jake, there is no way he sees the field.

4.FIRE Jeff Davidson. I'll never get the image of him running the ball on 3rd and 7 from the Buffalo 45. Probably the worse play call ever...

5.Get a kick returner.. Capitan is terrible..

6FIRE Huryney...I will never forgive him for crippling this team, by giving Jake all that money, even after the guy played like pure poo in the playoffs...

1. Meh... I am indifferent at this point... although I would rather cut ties and pay him now instead of spread it out... look for his release at the end of April/early May...

2. Pep ain't going anywhere... WR help will come in the second round and possibly FA... Keep an eye on the name Dezmon Briscoe...

3. Moore will be signed, Campbell I am not sure about at this point... With changes coming in Washington, he could stick there (I think he falls under Restricted status in the event of an uncapped season anyways)...

4. Keep Davidson... The majority of those calls are on Fox...

5. Agreed to an extent... We need help, but Captain is not terrible...

6. Hurney sticks... for a while...

i hate this peppers stuff...open your eyes watch a game, listen to an interview. Julius Peppers is hands down the best defensive player we have on this team. I am tired of hearing how he does not try or he takes plays off. If he did that why did the Panthers risk there whole season by franchising him, why does Jerry Richardson approve of him so much. Jon Gruden raves about him, Brian Billick raves about him, both ex NFL coaches who know more then anyone on this board. I remember reading an interview by a saints o-lineman last year saying that the panthers have to give peppers whatever he wants when he becomes a free agent because he is that good.

For a guy who does not like the game of football and takes plays off, he sure did not have to play a stretch of the season with a broken hand. The guy is a force who is practically held on every play. The two interceptions he made this year, not one other DE in the league could have made. This season Julius Peppers has effectively covered wide recievers and tight ends, no one else in hte league could do that. So before everyone bashes Julius Peppers how about reading a book or watching a game. No heart??? please explain to me what playing with a broken hand is.

Jon Gruden was raving about Josh Bullocks on the recent Monday Night Game.

Just sayin'

For me...

1. Resign Peppers long term. I think he'll want to resign.

2. Resign Thomas Davis

3. Restructure Jake Delhomme or cut him. He doesn't deserve to make that much and be on the team.

4. Release Damione Lewis. Good guy but too average for his pay imo.

5. Offer K. Vincent a vet minimum contract or let him go. Duke and Bernadau should be ready to go.

6. Resign James Anderson and give him an inside track on Diggs spot. I don't think he'll want to be here if he can't get a legit starting role.

7. Get Tank Tyler and Lois Leonard under contract.

8. Resign Matt Moore to a 3-4 year deal.

9. Offer Thomas a chance to return.

10. Dante Wesley deserves a good contract.

11. CJ Wilson needs to be resigned. Especially if a deal with Marshall can't be done.

12. Bring back Muhammad, but no 3 million dollar a year deals. Give him something fair or let him go.

13. Tyler Brayton will probably have to walk but I would like to get him resigned.

14. Extend Charles Johnson before he starts dominating.

15. I agree with the FO's plan to give Fox his last year. If he walks promote Jeff Davidson to HC and take the leashes off the offense.

16. Restructure Kemoatu.

17. Bring in Tyler Thigpen to compete with Moore. Obviously Moore is the starter but imo Jake fell apart largely do to us being complacent with his play. But honestly even if Jake was still here I think Moore would work his tail off to keep his job, because he would know more than anyone how loyal Fox is to Jake.

18. The only WR I think we could legitimately have a shot at getting is Steve Breaston.

19. Draft a WR in 2nd round, DT in the 3rd, a legit KR guy in the 4th, SS in the 6th

20. Win Superbowl
