Apparently he didn't want to be here anyways I don't see any reason for us to argue over it. I can't honestly blame him. But we did pay him a great deal of money. He's doing fine.

We used to be division rivals with them as kungfoodude noted. We also had a rivalry going with them back when Cam was still in his prime. No I don't care for the 49ers and I never will. They are doing well now because their more recent team owners finally stopped meddling and hired real football people to run the show. Our owner should take the glaring hint but he won't.

CMC didn’t belong on the Panthers after Cam was no longer there. CMC is where he belongs now playing for the son of the coach his dad played for. The Panthers are total garbage so I’m happy he gets an opportunity to play for a winning team.

I’ve had him in FF for years, so I’m happy to see him succeed. He is a player you must handcuff due to his injury history, though. He has had a run of clean health at SF. I hope not, but imagine that’ll end at some point.

The CMac can't stay healthy crowd can bite it... it's obvious the Panthers used minor Knicks to keep him sidelined and avoiding a workload during lost seasons.

I know this thread is supposed to be for fans to feel bad for themselves, but I'm happy for CMC. Wish we would have gotten some of that while he was here but running in a Ben McAdoo offense isn't quite the same as running in Shanahan's.

I guess that I should be mad over it, but that'd be stupid since it's not within my control.

Still gonna cheer for the Panthers. Still gonna pull for our players (s/o to YGM for a solid game. I've been his biggest critic but he shined vs. Minnesota). Still gonna go back and re-watch games and consume any type of analysis I come across. It's fun.

Hopefully some of yall find healthy ways to process your disappointment with the team. Whether that's leaning in or pushing away, whatever needs to happen to get thru it. ♡

I got drug on here for telling people to not be surprised if CMC suddenly becomes much more durable if he's traded to a contender. Sons of former players tend to be considerably smarter about how they manage their career. They have their dad who has been there and done that in their ear.

It's somewhat like if Barry Sanders was able to play for the 90s 49ers. Surprise, surprise, a playmaker surrounded by other playmakers is going to explode.

I'm happy for CMC.  He's back home (he's a west coast kid), playing for a coach who wants to maximize his talents, and they are a legit contender.  I do watch his highlights each week, which hurts my heart a little, but that's just the way it goes.  Would the Panthers be better?  Would CMC be having the same success on the Panthers?

Who knows.  You can't change the past.  You have to move on.  If you can change the past and you still let some of the horrors of the world happen....you have MUCH bigger issues than CMC in a Panthers' uniform...

But all in all? Honestly, I'm happy for CMC. Get after it, buddy.

It would have been better to give CMC and his family personnel authority over the roster, scouting and coaching staff than Rhule and Fitterer.

Bring in everybody possible with the last name McCaffrey, Shanahan and Kubiak. Legacy family affair to build around CMC. Likely have Wilks, Darnold, DJ Moore on the payroll. They obviously know what's necessary for success over Fittere and Tepper.
