3 completions of 15+ yards in 3 games lol.

CJ has 15 already in his 4 games with multiple touchdowns. 3 touchdowns of 15+ yards for reference

Like I said, insufferable. Good for Stroud but he’s not a Panther, and his success has no bearing on whether or not Bryce will succeed. Careers aren’t written in 3 games and never have been.

No but they’re sure as sh!t telling. We all want Frank gone but the fact he’s calling a bunch of short crap is very telling of what he thinks of Young’s arm

Why can't you?

Barring something egregious we don't know about, it would send a message to any other candidate how short their leash is and how little room they have. Coaches expect time to get their system going.  We see how terrible Reich is, but it won't matter to future candidates

Dalton had 6 completions of 15+ yards in the one damn game he’s played in. Six. 2 touchdowns of 15+ yards.

This is even more telling of what Frank thinks of Young’s arm.

It truly couldn’t be anymore clear. They stand up there and tell us how smart Bryce is so it’s not a playbook thing. It’s a physical limitation thing.

I won’t be surprised if someone pulls a clip from his pro day at some point

Ironically even watching Bryce Young's proday had some people saying the same things we are saying 6 months later while others still try to deny the obvious because reality hurts.

KB is the guy with a direct line to Tepper.  If hes saying that its coming right from brass balls himself.  And thats not good, more impulsivity from Big Tepp..

Exactly. Tepper’s lack of impulse control and patience is a big reason we’re in this mess. Joe Person’s article in The Athletic stated the Panthers should embrace a rebuild (which IMO we should’ve done after Rivera was fired), but the man doesn’t appear to have a long term vision for the team. Just win NOW.

    • Yes.  And this converts directly to confidence.  Does the coach have confidence to call a deep dig or seam route?  Does Bryce have confidence in his ability to be the Alpha?  Do his teammates have confidence.  About film--when I see Cam Newton's pre-snap confidence vs. Bryce's, it is night and day.   Film--tells you if the WRs are open (why l love watching the Replay telecasts from the end zone cameras--you can see it.  I have seen 2 WRs open and Bryce's eyes are on the outlet WR or the pass rush. )  You can see progressions, and he has improved a bit--but he is very quick to rush through 1 and 2 and checkdown--that is a lack of confidence in his ability to read the defense.  I had a former NFL TE (Deems Maye) who played QB in high school (not sure about college) tell me that the best QBs read the defense by knowing where everyone will be when the ball is to arrive--not where they are.  I think his QB at the time was Humphries.  He said that Humphries would throw the ball into coverage before the cuts etc.  because he understood DB momentum, zone areas, etc.  and he could just see it.  Said so when people say nobody was open, they are usually right because nobody should be "open" when the QB has the ball--when the ball arrives, everyone should be open.  He said Humphries was never "great" but his skills were limited--from a small school--but his ability to read a defense made him never give up on a route.

    • Mustard BBQ sauce only. Bessingers or Melvin's BBQ sauce.  However Bessingers is the best in the world, Melvin is 2nd.    I found this article    In fact, the New York Times Magazine described the sauce as “terrifically balancing the tangs of mustard and vinegar with a wood fire's charry flavor.” While helping his dad, Joseph “Big Joe” Bessinger, as a teenager in the kitchen of the family's first restaurants, Thomas learned the secret recipe for the gold sauce – ... https://www.bessingersbbq.com › t...
