He clearly doesn't trust Bryce Young. I think you can agree with that.

The plays we're running certainly screams it. I just don't know if it's the plays that are bing called or if Bryce is Kill, kill, killing us into a lot of these plays.

Just let the guy run the offense. If he's continuously audibling into a super safe play, cut off his audibles or at least narrow the options. We can't just keep throwing screens and checkdowns with no vertical threat though.

Time will tell. I mean the odds of Bryce incorrectly using or overusing the ability to audible at the LOS is pretty high. He's a freaking rookie. Super computer/processor whatever they allegedly said about him goes out the window when an NFL defense is on the field luring him into mistakes.

He will learn to play the chess match at the LOS, I'm the least worried about that.

Bryce will forever be fully dependant on being surrounded with high level talent and a really good HC/OC like Tua

If Bryce was capable of taking over a game we don’t lose games like we did to the Vikes or Saints.

I’m very curious to see what the Dolphins do with Tua. How different would someone like Josh Dobbs, Brisett or a Kenny Pickett’s numbers look compared to Tua’s if they were QB in Miami right now?

Why would he open up the playbook with a different QB?

Because of his preconceived notions. He's the one that had to be convinced about Bryce, and to be honest he probably never was fully on board. We heard all the rumors about Reich and big QBs. Well those rumors were probably closer to the truth than not. He was NOT the one pushing for Bryce.

Lol you want to be a puss when Linville goes at you but now look at what you're doing. I set a trap for your dumb ass and you fell for it hook line and sinker. Mr sensitive hypocrite.

“Mr sensitive hypocrite” says the person who’s entire post is personal insults 🙄. Projecting a bit are we?

I don't doubt his football intelligence. I just don't know that he has the physical tools to deliver on it and his demeanor is starting to concern me. He's starting to seem really lacking in confidence IMO but I'm not a Bama fan so I didn't closely follow him in college so I don't have a baseline there. This might just be how he is when things aren't going great. I don't know.

I actually liked that he was pissed off and dejected on Sunday. It's more passion than he's shown since he got here imo.

Aside from Steve saying relax at the beginning of the video he gets into Bryce checking out of plays way too many times and the Vikings baiting him into making those changes to get the looks they wanted. Combine that with Smith 2 weeks ago bashing the play calling in the Saints game and it seems like Bryce is overthinking or not ready to be making these adjustments. The 1st quarter scripted stuff looked ok vs the Vikings

Calm down there, Yugi. Trust the heart of the film.

    • What I really learned here is that the Carolina Panthers aren't anywhere near as bad as I initially thought they were earlier this year.  We've got a young and growing offense with some promising parts. But it still needs some tweaks and improvements.  We really still could still use a dominant #1 WR. But Chubba,  Legette, Coker,  and J.Sanders have generally looked decent. Bryce took a big leap after the benching. We can score enough points to keep pace with 2x defending super bowl champions, so offense isn't a huge issue. Main thing that needs improvement is defense. We sorely need a CB 2, and a number of new players at Dline and LB.  We're not quite as bad at edge with Wonnum showing promise.  But we definitely need 1 or 2 more edges Clowney is old.  Run D is probably worse prevailing theme these past couple years. We really need a good young stud or two to pair with Derrick Brown and another LB to pair up with Trevin Wallace. If Morgan and Canales can focus on rebuilding the defense this off-season and possibly going out and getting a #1 WR. This team could easily be somewhere around 7-10 to 10-7 and flirting with playoffs in 1 or 2 seasons. Overall this game has made me feel alot more positive about the direction of the team.
    • With our picks we need pass rush, lb, Safety, a speedster yac wr, o line depth and I still want a mid round qb. We got 9 picks and 8 in the first 5 rounds. If they pull Off another solid draft we be cooking.
    • We had one passing touchdown against the Giants and one passing touchdown against the Chiefs today. Yes a good backup can replicate that. And that is why Andy Dalton in significantly less games has the same number of 30 point outings as Bryce Young. I am on board with you guys about wanting to be hopeful for the future. Today was a good performance to build on especially at home. But let's please keep things in perspective. BTW the Bucs who honestly aren't even that good blew the doors off the Giants today after we went to overtime against them with 17 points. Again. Perspective.
