rhys lloyd is like the happy gilmore of football. Everytime he kicks the ball off, it's either a hit or miss.

There have been time when he's shanked a kickoff when he's been told to do that to keep the ball away from the more dangerous returner. Not saying that happened yesterday because I haven't heard that was the intent, but it has happened in other games.

On a side note, he cracks me up on the sideline. He puts warm up pants over his uniform pants on cold days when he's not playing. And he's always in his jacket. When he anticipates it's time to warm up because it might be time for him to kick, he takes his stuff off and practices. But yesterday when we got the ball back unexpectedly before halftime, and scored immediately, you could just see the thought bubble over his head that said - oh sh!t as he scrambled to get his stuff off to warm up. Luckily for him, there was the challenge that gave him time. It was pretty funny though.
