Someone tell me what I am missing about him. Every time he gets in a game he shows he's a player.Why cant this guy get a legit shot at starting somewhere. I would love a Moore,Delhomme,Thigpen training camp.

I want competition in camp at the quarterback position. Best man starts and when and if the starter shits the bed,I want someone capable of performing to replace him. Prolly because he's from Coastal. That shouldn't stop people from givin' him a chance tho. He did pretty damn good at KC for what he had to work with.

If your going to bring someone in off of performances yesterday then you should go after Charlie Frye... than man had the raiders fighting hard and in contention for winning that game... Through a beautiful pass for a TD, and took a beating the whole time he was in there. Thigpen... If he played so good then maybe Miami should look at trying to keep him to compete with Henne, and White next year.

It wasn't just from yesterday,he has shown me something between K.C and coming in from the #3 spot yesterday, and of course there are Carolina ties. It will indeed be very telling if he is retained by Miami,the Tuna knows talent,but I hope he can find his way into our camp somehow.

Yeah,I mean Moore did better than Delhomme this year but who did better in camp? McNown was the second stringer, did he out do Moore in camp? Although McNown didnt get much of a chance this season...

Oh come on! Thigpen comes off the bench and has a good drive. He then had 2 bad ones (INTs) that sealed the game for the Steelers. If he's so good, why is he the Dolphins #3 to begin with? Heck, Jackson came off the bench and relieved Favre in the Vikes blowout. He didn't turn the ball over. Should we bring him in too to offer QB competition?

Competition for the QB job should have been held in the preseason of this year, given how bad Jake played in the playoff debacle against the Cards, and some of the other games he had in 2008 (3 INTs against the Bucs, 4 against the Raiders). That wasn't done, and we may have paid a price for that (I say may because unfortunately, we'll just never KNOW how Moore would have done starting the season. But we KNOW what he has done in a relief role). McKown should be ready when camp opens. Let him and Jake compete for the #2 job. But, Moore was the #3 when the season started, McKown went in for jake in the Eagles game, and was promptly injured for the year. Put resources towards other critical team needs, like WR, line depth (both sides), and special teams. We get good in those categories and I think we're positioned to do alright in 2010.

I want depth on the "O" line, but given how well our line came together after crippling injuries, I'm wondering if there might be some options as far as trading for some draft picks? ALL teams need help at "O" line, and we'll have the injured coming back. We appear to be pretty good at developing such linemen, so parting with some on the roster now to get additional draft picks or other good position players may be worth a look.

Fox led us to believe Jake was better in camp and practice all season. But his performance on the field says something else. I got no problem bringing in another QB to compete with Moore, But really? Don;t we already have enough competition for him with Jake and McCown? Oh yeah AJ...
