He should definitely be the presumed starter. But obviously we need to bring someone in to challenge/back him up. It's time to part ways w/ Jake. He had a good 4 years and a hell of a playoff run to the superbowl.

Jake parlayed a decent regular season and a nice playoff run into a contract extension back in 03, yet people are so reluctant to get behind Moore after all of his solid play and potential every time he's stepped on the field. He's obviously more talented than Jake ever was, but i guess he's not as likeable.

I didnt want him signed that long back then. Flash in a pan QB is what he was and I want to make sure Moore isnt like that either. Im fine with a 3 year contract paying Moore around 2.5 a year but nothing more or longer than that.

It's the nature of the beast. Jake has polarised opinion for a while now & now with his future at starter looking bleaker than it ever has those it has exposed Moore as a viable replacement.

Be in no doubt that if Moore starts to play like Jake has this season folk will be putting the boot into him as well.

I don't know what else he has to prove.

You hear how inaccurate he is and then you listen to the commentators say how perfect a throw was for a TD.

Then you hear how weak arm he is and watch him throw a 30 yd bullet for a TD.

Then you hear how he can't throw the ball over 20 yds as he drops one 50yds on the money.

HE has it all and the MOORE time he receives at QB the Better he is gonna be.
