That isn't true either. Two years after the Super Bowl apperance we went to the NFC championship game. Three years after that we went to the playoffs and won the division. We haven't been back to the Super Bowl but as you will find, getting there is not as hard as winning it. And getting back there is even harder. You might know that if you had been there before.

Yeah, I'm sure there are a lot of inactive accounts that were created by lurkers for the sole purpose of posting a couple of things because a certain thread made them mad. I say no account activity in 6 months and it gets deleted.

I still say the Saints were/are paper tigers. The Colts were as well. The Saints won the paper tiger bowl. This was an off year for powerhouse clubs. I seriously doubt either make it back to the Superbowl next year. As much as I hate to say this, the Pats "off years" are the years other teams get a chance to win one. If New Engalnd gets back to their normal M.O., they'll be back in it with an NFC team either getting their ass handed to them or pulling a Giant's kind of monumental upset.
