He made some nice plays today... I think he could really be something... Jarrett really doesn't hit the field too often, though until today he had failed to make the most of what chances he had. Couple real pretty catches today though.

horray, Dwayne Jarrett finally gets a touchdown against backups after 3 years...a star is born. He really proved the doubters wrong.

All of his adversity he's brought on himself. Just because you have a mancrush on a certain player doesn't really give anyone the right to call those who are a little more level headed a "hater".

I hate that word, it's just a desperate attempt at discrediting critiscism. You might as well call people who disagree doodoo heads, it carries the same amount of maturity. Nobody "hates" Dwayne Jarrett, there just tired of his lazy piss poor performance after 3 years.

If we can't get anyone better he might be worth keeping around. He's cheap and young. But it would not be that hard to find an upgrade. He has great hands and leaping ability. Too bad he sucks at every other aspect of being a WR.

Hopefully if he stays he can find new life with a better QB, whoever that may be. He has good potential hidden under a thick blubbery coating of laziness.

This is the kind of "crap" I was talking about... against first stringers, second stringers or whoever, you still have to catch the ball when it's thrown to you and Jarrett has done that as the guy below quoted says... you can't catch it if you never play and when you do it's never thrown to you.

dude finally got his act together today. i saw three HUGE catches that made me forget that i couldn't feel my face out there.

he really stepped up.

kenny moore had a chance to make a really nice grab but got clobbered.

jarrett, though....you need to be sending whoever it was that broke smith's arm a thankyou note because there was no way that you were going to show that with him there. in fact you wouldn't have been active and probably cut this week had it not been for that broken arm.

he took advantage of the situation....now he just needs to keep pushing. let's see if he can build on this. i'm not a believer yet but he caught my attention.

dwayne jarrett is a career underachiever. i'm not going all in until he has more than one good game. i still think that WR needs help and at least have a competition next year. jarrett just looks galky and slow to me.

I thought he sucked too, but the thing is, when I look back when he's played, he's pretty much caught everything and made several great catches while getting lit up, especially hard shots to the back...

Also, I noticed in games he played before that he got separation, the ball just didn't get to him... So, give him time with Moore under center this next season and I think we all will be pleasantly surprised.
