I believe in taking your shot when the chance presents itself. It just looks like we shot our shot on the wrong QB.

Yeah, that's true, as well. I didn't have a problem with the move. I don't love the result so far. The kid(who was my horse in the race) better start looking like at least early Drew Brees the next couple of seasons.

I wish they would have brought Jameis in in 2020 and just started fliniging it all over the place. Would have still lost but would have been way more interesting.

Drafting was NOT a mistake, every team would have taken Bryce with the top pick including the Texans which they even admitted. Including DJ to trade up is unacceptable which i have even stated when the trade was done. Trading away CMC for a 2nd round and some low picks is MUCH worse. I think we gave up more for a known bust in Sam D (3 seasons on the Jets) when most teams wouldn't offer more than a 4th round for him.

there's no "right way" with Tepper, the man been obsess with finding a franchise QB as soon as possible and throwing everything away for it because of his impatience

I never discuss molah amount in chat but it was big so now i am deep in the red heading into this early season but i have done really well in prior seasons including that Rams game a few years back game that i won BIG on. One rule I have, never bet for or against the Panthers, even if I am very sure on the outcome.

If we didn't give anything up for the #1 pick, sure, but if Young does not pan out then it was a bust of a trade package.  I wasn't aware we gave up a first round veteran and and first round pick for Darnold.

Tepper is scared to make the same mistake twice, so he keeps grasping at straws because he has no freaking clue what he is doing.  Just because someone makes a lot of money in one field does not make them a genius in all aspects.  Dude needs to stick to hedge funds and let the football people do their jobs.

We gave up a high 2nd round pick plus 2 more picks for Sam as the Jets GM played Scott by lying they got solid fictitious for him. BS! 49ers got Sam for nothing and the 2nd round we got from them is much lower considering how good a team they are. CMC hasn't lost a single game whenever he has starts for them! And I would NEVER our last playmaker in DJ in a trade to move up nor would any other GM as well. 49ers refused to trade Deebo or Aiyuk to move up for Trey Lance. Scott just don't get it
