Drew Brees will not play tomorrow

I don't blame the Saints for making this call. However, they have not looked like the same team ever since the Patriots game.

3 game losing streak and 4-5 games of mediocre play has to be concerning. But, the risk of having Brees hurt is much ouitweighs that.

Saints play like the Patriots game and they will win the SB. They play like they have the past 4 weeks and they are likely one and done.

The bottomline is there is two weeks for this team to prepare...in that time they can get healthy and focus on the problems that have led to the 2 game losing streak(tackling, run defense, etc.). The Saints finished 1st in the NFC and were the class of the conference for most of the season, there is no reason for us to be afraid of any team in the playoffs.

While I agree they need to rest their nicks and bruises, it's awfully hard to focus on and fix problems by being on the practice field and in the tape room. They better hope they get the easiest of the bunch for their first Playoff game. The dome is no longer a sure thing, so the question is, who's the best bet for them to get a win? I say Dallas, as you'll want to beat them more than anyone else in the bunch. Philly could easily stop a mudhole in you but may get the bye. Minnesota is in your shoes and needs to fix issues so they may be a good team to play. Arizona and Green Bay will be coin flips and you'll need to be playing your best to beat them...which right now, you're not.

Injuries or not, Saints defense is pathetic at best. They stat-padded at the beginning against mediocre teams(ints, etc) but their secondary is a complete joke. You better hope you don't play a team like Packers or Cardinals in divisional round or you'll get shredded for at least 350-400 yards lol.

Tackling is our worst problem defensively and that's pretty fixable.

As for GB, you mean the same team that just got raped by BEN a few weeks back? Honestly, there is no team dominant team in the NFC this year. Philly looks good but Payton usually pwns Reid in the coaching category. Brett Farve is struggling not to kill Childress and Arizona is as Jekll and Hyde as it gets.
