Close Look at Panthers 2010 Schedule

The 49er's, thanks in large part to us, could be contenders next year. They're not terrible this year, just average. The Rams, meanwhile, are probably still two good drafts away from being serious players again but things are looking up there. If Spags stays there, the players have bought into his philosophy and if they play their cards right they could be fun to watch the next few years (remember, this is the team that started exposing the unbeaten Saints this year). Not saying they'll be a 2008 Dolphins kinda story, but not a team to sleep on either. Seattle, meanwhile, will be the worst team in that division next year no matter what they do and thats a statement I will stand by.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping we get to play the Packers next year. That always makes for a good game.

Once again we play the Giants away. This is getting a tad ridiculous. How many years is that in a row?

Reading is fun

It would be the third straight season the Panthers will play on the road against the Giants, although this time the game would at least be in their new stadium.

I saw this before and it is actually INCORRECT. If the schedule rotation holds true to form, then the Panthers will play AT San Fran and be home versus St. Louis. (Other than that it is correct). In 2007, the Panthers were at STL and home against SF, so it would reverse in 2010.

Officially the NFL has not said that this will be the schedule, everyone is just assuming that this will be the case. The NFL has held off because of CBA negotiations and wanted to expand the number of games.

That's what I thought! I wanted to go to that game this year too. I haven't been to a game since San Diego.

Schedule certainly looks easier than last year, but it's always kind of hard to tell.
