The offense with Bryce is getting worse every week

Defenses are completely key’d in now

They mentioned yesterday that coordinators have picked up on his tells. Only took eight quarters. 
 

Play calling becoming more conservative in response is making the matter worse. 
 

Bryce really does not look the part at all, playcalling aside. 
 

We are full Clausen mode out there.

doesn't help that it takes 3 or 4 running backs to run under 100 yards.

Crowd the box and get pressure for the win. Anyone that can't see that doesn't deserve a win.

Not throwing the ball down the field makes it so easy for the defense. I cant believe how bad Young is, its hard to watch. I have a feeling he will retire in the next couple of years.

It's painful watching some fans twist and turn to create excuses to ignore this reality and ignore the fact that the passing offense (and the WRs everyone has shat on) looked wholly different last week with a QB who could threaten the defense vertically.

It isn't just a BY issue. It felt like every other lass was a screen, which isn't BY refusing to go deep.

If the coaches don't trust him to stretch the field, tho, he shouldn't be playing.

And that QB was Andy fuging Dalton, who isn't Mr. Armstrength.  

This is all deeply concerning for the future of this team.

I said before that game that my biggest concern is that the offense might look a lot better with Dalton taking the snaps because we already know what Dalton is. Biggest fear confirmed. Then confirmed again when Bryce looked the same against a bad D yesterday.

He’s not as bad as Clausen. Some have forgotten how bad Clausen was. We’ve moved the ball decently with Bryce, it’s just that most drives ends up stalling and we’re not getting chunk yardage.

I'm sorry, but I have a hard time believing the coaching staff is dialing up 10-12 WR screens at the LOS. A few? Sure. But I think Bryce keeps checking into these screens himself. Maybe try to run the play as called and stop checking into safe throws.

Perhaps, so stop giving him "kill" plays that are screens. He's not calling totally different plays from what the coaches want.
