Also intriguing. Regarding Hurney; Yasinskas was quoted as saying that a few years back when there was discussion of Fox's job security, Marty Hurney threatened to quit in protest if Fox were let go.

Yasinskas now says that if Fox were fired today, Hurney would stay on and accept the firing.

I would think Meeks at least rates an interview. Don't know if he`d get the job, though.

Likewise, if Lovie Smith were cut loose in Chicago, I could see him getting a look here. He fits the profile Jerry Richardson prefers.

Guys, Fox can't just "leave". He's under contract. I guess he could quit, but I don't see that happening.

If Richardson doesn't fire him, he'll be here next year unless some team stupidly offers a blockbuster Jon Gruden trade for him.
