The question is, can he survive to get to that third year? I suspect next year is also going to extend our streak of losing seasons so Tepper is going to have to be much more patient than he has been so far. I rather doubt Canales makes it far into season three, if he even makes that if he isn't close to .500 after 2025. -
Don’t forget McVay dumped Goff….and he is a much better QB with the Lions than with the Rams. Goff, with one of the best offensive coaches in the league, was considered a disappointment and was traded away. Jones is still only 27. You never know what a change of scenery could do for him. At least the Panthers would not be trading away draft picks if they decided to pursue.
