Really impressive showing by the D

All things considered this was a great game defensively. Scored our only TD, allowed just 14 to a top offense, held Jefferson to 85 yards after he went for 149+ in each of his first 3 games. And all of that is with Shaq and Horn out, Luvu banged up, Donte banged up, etc. The Jamison kid who I had never heard of really has been great. Chinn looking great again too and the pass rush coming around with YGM showing some more promise. Embarrassing showing by the offense and HC yet again but the D with a great bounceback game after the ugly showing vs Seattle

I'm proud of our back half. Lots of injuries, but they still battled.

Has to be said, where was Burns today? 99% of this game, he might as well been on the bench.

One assist tackle and one pressure for Burns on the day-- I think it was the same play to be honest where YGM got the sack.  That's totally worth a $170 million extension!

We interviewed our D-Coordinator to be our HC.

Evero coached out of his mind today. Anyone who can’t see that is blinded by how horrible the offense is. Evero has a secondary down to practice squad players one of whom returned a pick 6, held the Vikings offense to 14 points, 7 of which were on a short field. Evero is a man coaching among boys. Promote him to HC and fire that clown Reich right now.

    • The problem with Tmac im almost certain he will go top 5 and I can't see either Jacksonville or New England passing him up.   I think in a perfect world we draft either Tmac or Hunter, but they interviewed Prime on Speak today and he said he will have a say in where Sanders and Hunter play. So I'm not even sure if Hunter is a option now lol.
    • Trading Deontae was 100% the right call, as he's not a #1 either and we weren't going to re-sign him, but we still got an awful return for him (thankfully the Mingo trade made up for it). And yes, we need that smaller shifty WR, but we also need a true outside #1 as neither XL or Coker are that. That's why I think T-Mac is a perfect fit for us in the early 1st round as that outside #1, Coker and XL could both play on the other outside and in the slot, and find a small shifty WR to work from the slot too, with Sanders, Brooks, and now Hubbard with the extension, plus our OL, is an offense that can succeed with a good game manager type of QB and not need a superstar.
    • Put the pipe down. You are what your record says you are. They need talent and a lot of it. Brown is set but he can use upgrades all around him. ARob is fine but a short timer so competition is needed as a hedge against him chasing money next year. They need a bunch of LBs. Jewell is stopgap and Shaq is losing a step. He's the smartest of the group but he can no longer hang with a TE. They are playing harder yes, but it's due to grit and pride more than skill. They are finally getting tired of getting their asses kicked. Unfortunately for them the beatings will continue until moral improves.
