Matt Moore one of the best throwing over 20 yards

what games were you watching? how bout that bullet he threw to moose on third down. how about that bullet he threw to steve smith in the viking games? do i have to get game film for you? i can do that if you want.

Actually I have all the games DVRed. Bullets, hardly...he has zip on the shorter ones. The longer balls tend to hang. I guess rose-colored glasses makes one see what they want.

great maybe he can mentor the franchise quarterback we take in the draft i think we should trade peppers for two first rounders and get The Golden Calf of Bristol in the top five then sign vick to be backup

in cowher i trust

They cut moore because they were hoping to stash him on the practice squad. The other three quarterbacks on the roster had been there and were a known quantity of sorts, you don't cut your backups for a UDFA.

Matt Moore has shown he deserves a chance for consideration to start next year, and most likely will unless we somehow pick up Troy Smith.

For you and the poster above you, they only kept two QBs, Romo and Brad Johnson...they had to try and stash Moore on the PS because they had to keep two kickers on the active roster because one was hurt during TC...you are all welcome

Lets see how long his Touchdown passes have been.

  • 42 Yard to S. Smith
  • 41 Yard to S. Smith
  • 27 Yard to S. Smith
  • 22 Yard to Moose
  • 2 Yard to J. Stewart
  • 2 Yard to J. King
  • 1 B. Hoover

The majority of his touchdown passes have been greater than 20 yards. Its clear that he can throw TDs both inside and outside of the redzone. You are just making stuff up at this point. You should really make an attempt to think before you write something. I'm tired of responding to your poorly thought out posts.

Yes, about that majority. One more short TD pass and that majority becomes .500. Those two forty-yard passes were near picks because they were UNDERTHROWN.

Poorly thought out posts. You post Moore's TD passes (lots of research there) and talk about a one TD majority over 20 yards. Jeez that's brilliant! Moore doesn't have a strong arm and that was what this is all about--that and the love affair with the would-be phenom.

i think the majority of the problem people have with matt moore is a little bit of love still for delhomme and the fact he is not a 1st round highly touted pick.

i gaurantee you if he was a first round pick ,you guys doubting him would be anionting him the future.

People already haveand he's not a first rounder. If he were a high draft pick, he'd be in the same breath as Manning brothers or Phillip Rivers.

so the pass to moose wasnt a bullet? neither was the one to steve smith. what would you consider a bullet?

The one to Moose had zip, but the throwing lane was clear and didn't have to throw over LBs. The one to Smith, if you are talking about the 15-yard was a roll-out and he tends to get more velocity on the move. In the pocket throwing the deep ball, Moore doesn't have much zip.

He has gotten better, though I don't know if arm strength is something that can be greatly improved. You either have a cannon or you don't.

You're just another contrarian who is trying to get a rise out of people by posting poorly thought out rubbish in someone else's thread.

I fail to see the brilliance in your posts. You post Moores TD figures and your argument has MUCH more merit...BS. You are trying to nullify my argument by degrading it just because you disagree with me.

I'm not trying to get a rise out of people, simply baffled at love-affair with Moore to the point journalists are posting shoddy statistics to over-inflate Moore's balloning iconic status.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
