Silly stat is silly. I bet any of us could come up with some retarded stat like that. First off, we only play four AFC teams a year, and an AFC team has one something like nine of the past 14 Super Bowls.

Well we were in every game we played this season. The only game we truly got our asses handed to us in every phase of the game was week 1. We played those teams with our hands tied behind our backs.

I like this version better: We are the bellweather that decides whether you win the super bowl or not. If you lose to us you don't have the fortitude for sustained battle. But if you beat us you are good enough to win it all. We obviously are a tough test which helps other teams survive and makes them battle tested enough to survive the race to the super bowl.
