I really wish the league would minimize the fan voting element. That's what really turns the whole thing to crap.

Better than 90% of the fan votes just go to members of their favorite team (deserving or not) or to names people heard or saw on ESPN a lot.

based on what Londan has done year in and year out I would have been happy if he got it.......but that is the only guy outside of Willis I would have in over Beason. Beason deserves the spot.....Fletcher could have had it for being snubbed for years and years but Beason is the better MLB.

Again, the Pro Bowl is always a joke. They go with someone's name, not what they do. Beason play a lot better than Vilma has this year. It nice DeWill finally got his first PB ever, but that not enough. And the fact we're a small market team doesn't help either. Beason probably didn't get pick because of his arrest few weeks ago, when it wasn't his fault & he isn't a bully.

Dan, from your experience of playing some with Beason and Vilma, who do you think naturally has "it?" Obviously, Imma go with Beason, but I loved Vilma's game coming out of The U, that hit he had in the National Championship game (on the TE I believe) was murderous, lol.

And Fletcher has been overdue for a selection... But, I have to say, I woulda thought DWill would get in as a make-up selection from missing out last year. Sucks.

EDIT: Just saw DLo got in as a reserve, so only real snub was Beason. The guy is a game changer man.

dmo, based on your experience, what is the actual opinion of the pro bowl from a player's point of view? i'm sure it differs from one guy to another, but how much stock is placed in getting voted in? would you have been completely bummed/pissed off at being snubbed?
