Realistic Draft Options for the Panthers

If we get Davis for a good price we better keep him. We have one of the best LB corps in the league and Anderson looks like he is ready to step in and start for Diggs as a more athletic option at that spot.

The guy who I think will be gone at the beginning of next year isn't TD...its Kemo. He is due a 9 million dollar roster bonus coming off a major injury. My bet is that unless he restructures and waives his bonus/other money coming to him he will be cut in favor for another veteran that will come cheaper.

I haven't taken time out yet to build my own draft board yet. Lots of eyeball tests.

I think based on how well the D is playing now and all the dif lineups they have used, that when they draft some D players it may be later.

But couple the problem with the Panther's just flat out whiffing year after year with wr's I think they go the safe route and get some depth the first pick or two.

I like to not just look at some stats but which conf did a guy play in. Who are the asst coaches for that team and their track record of producing a certain type player.

South Carolina with db's and wr's or Clemson with rb's or Texas and linemen etc.

Personally, I put as much stock into the asst coaches methodology as I do anything else.

Add to that list never, I repeat never, draft USC receivers.
