What will happen in an uncapped year… in terms everyday Panthers fans will understand

And as far as NFL / baseball comparison (popularity being down in baseball), that has nothing to do with a lack of salary cap because they didn't have one back when it was the most popular sport. Teams that spend ten zillion dollars like the Yankees are good for baseball if you ask me, because it creates a "bad guy" to root against. Life is different now and people just don't have time to devote to a slow paced season that is 162 games long.

I for one refuse to watch baseball because it is just a game that is bought and paid for by the largest market teams with the fattest check books.

Screw That Crap.

Can you imagine the NFL? Yuck

If the NFL gets like Baseball in an uncapped year I think the bigger markets will have a lot of success. Washington, Dallas, both New York Markets and Chicago will do well with money to spend I guess. Jacksonville, Buffalo, and Cleveland your smaller market teams could possibly struggle. With all this money the NFL has they would be stupid not to work out a deal before 2011 to avoid a possible lockout.
