PrePreseason Game coming up....

Our defense is hitting hard and playing with nothing to lose right now. It's not the sort of squad you want to play your starters against more than you have to, especially given our history of injuring star players.

That intimidating talk might work on teams that y'all play only once every four years. The Saints play you twice a year every year. We have been blocking Peppers since he's been in the league, along with all your other *scary* players.

Since the Vikes lost last night they would have grabbed the #1 seed had they beaten Tampa....now its a toss-up.....the worst that could happen for the Saints is a #2 seed even if they lose Sunday.

Ummmm...no...it's not a toss up. The Saints are the #1 seed already & that doesn't depend on if we win or lose. Vikes record is 11-4. Saints record is 13-2 with one game left to play.

Tbh.. Peppers has been causing more problems when teams DO block him than when they don't. In some cases a QB Hurry is more effective than a QB Sack.

I doubt it. They lost 2 straight at home. If they sit out, thats 3 weeks of rest before their next game = 1 and done in playoffs

They need to play the whole game, and play to win for some time of momentum

We have 14 players on IR, haven't rested since the beginning of October with half of the roster on the weekly injury reports. Why would we play for more than a quarter?

Saint J... come on now. Lets be real here

You seriously think 3 weeks of no playing is good in the playoffs?

Every week of rest is important to getting everyone healthy. I'd rather everyone have that extra week to be 100% than play a meaningless game where we could get more people injured.

When Pep starts breaking through that line, expect Brees to leave with a strained mole.

you think Peppers can see that mole with those lazy crossed eyes he has?

Serious question here; did you sit anyone before you playoff loss to AZ last year? I honestly don't remember....

Well we actually played you guys the final week of the season and if my memory serves me right, we needed to win that game to clinch the 2nd seed and a 1st round bye.

Jake Delhomme was the single sole purpose as to why we lost that game. Resting starters or not, nothing would have made a difference.
