..Jeff Davidson can be a pretty decent play caller when his QB isn't the worse passer in the league...Meeks defense is playing good. But I don't for a second trust John Fox with Jake on the team. We could have Steve young, and I bet my left ball, Jake would be the starter..please...PLEASE..release Jake...PLEASE..

And this: http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Panthers-Fox-2010-122809

Injury-riddled and out of the playoff race before December, the Carolina Panthers seemed certain to have their first double-digit loss season under coach John Fox.

Instead, they're playing their best football of the season, just in time to perhaps mean the embattled Fox will return in 2010.

A day after the Panthers routed the New York Giants for their third win in four games, The Charlotte Observer reported Fox and general manager Marty Hurney will be "offered the opportunity to return next season."

However, the report said Fox will not be given a contract extension. His deal ends after the 2010 season.

I wanted Fox and Delhomme gone after this year. I guess I can handle Fox without teh Delhommes as 1st QB. Don't even really want him as a 2nd QB. At least we can rely on having a good year next year but will it be enough?

Sorry Cowher.
