Panthers WR options next season.

One possible draft option is Demaryius Thomas out of Georgia Tech. The guy is big, fast, and has great hands. Physically, I don't think there is a match for him in the upcoming draft class. He reminds me of Andre Johnson. He's a specialist in deep route running. If you are shooting for a big guy rather than a someone quick like Tate that's where I would look in the second-third round.

The Panthers Keep

Steve Smith- He will be the number one receiver in Charlotte until he retires.

Muhsin Muhammad- Moose's role will be decreased, however if he chooses not to retire he will be brought back and the Panthers will ask him to be a Ricky Prohel type of player.

Kenneth Moore- Kenny Moore will be the best 5th string wide out in the NFL.

The Panthers need look at these Free Agents

Jason Avant- Avant had a solid year with 579 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. He would be a big pick up if the Panthers decided to take a look at him.

Steve Breason- Breaston is currently the Cardinals 3rd string wide out. However he did put up very impressive numbers which include 696 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns. If Breaston wanted to make a name for himself and establish himself as a number two wideout, then Carolina should honor this man's wish and bring him in to Carolina.

Lee Evans- Evans had a solid season, unfortunatley he did not receive any credit because of T.O. Evans had 563 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns.

Vincent Jackson- If the Panthers wanted to go big they would go after Jackson. Jackson had 1,167 receiving yards and 9 touchdowns. If Jackson was paired with Smitty they would be nearly unstoppable.

Kevin Walter- Walter is underrated receiver on a decent receiving corp in Houston. He had 581 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns this year.

Wide Receivers in the Draft

Terrell Hudgins- Hudgins did go to a small school in the University of Elon, but he holds so many receiving records now that it is not even funny. In Hudgins four year career at Elon he has racked up 5,220 receiving yards and 51 touchdowns. He is a force to be reckoned with.

Dezmon Briscoe- Briscoe is the most underrated wide out in this years draft. Briscoe has been at Kansas for only three years and has already totaled 3,240 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns. He is a big and physical receiver at 6-3 and 200 pounds. It would be a mistake to not look at him.

Danario Alexander- Alexander is another Big 12 receiver that had an impressive year. He is a huge receiver at 6-5 and 215 pounds. He accumulated 2,641 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns. What is more impressive is that 13 of those 21 touchdowns came in his senior season at Mizzou.

Freddie Barnes- Barnes from Bowling Green had an amazing senior season, He caught 16 touchdown passes, and racked up 1,551 yards in his senior season. He totaled 3,080 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns in his four year career at Bowling Green.

Jordan Shipley- Shipley would also be a good choice. He had an outstanding career at Texas which included 3,069 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns.

Emmanuel Sanders- Sanders did play at a small school but he still racked up very impressive numbers. He is small but makes up for it in heart. He accumulated 3,791 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns at Southern Methodist. Sanders also had 7 receptions for 124 yards and 1 touchdowns in Southern Methodist's Bowl win.

Mardy Gilyard- Gilyard is a good receiver and makes the most of his oppurtunities. He accumulated 2,962 receiving yards and 25 touchdowns in his career at Cinncy.

To add a few more things about Demaryius Thomas. Coming out of Georgia Tech's offense, the guy knows how to block, and is built to do so well. He would be the perfect compliment to our running game, and is easily the best replacement for Moose when it comes to run blocking. He's 6-3 230 lbs and is not easily matched up with by puny cornerbacks or safeties.

I want Kevin Walter in FA and Golden Tate in the 2nd round.

Steve Smith

Kevin Walter

Mushin Muhammad

Golden Tate

Kenneth Moore

Thats what I hope our WRs look like next year with Tate possibly passing Moose and maybe even Walter on the depth chart at some point during the season.

Yea, I like those 5.

We need to keep Moore, and I have fallen in love with the idea of getting Tate.
