The game is more than stats though. In terms of play, where players are making their tackles and when they are making their plays (and what plays they are failing to make when in position) there really isn't a comparison between an elite player like Willis and a good player like Beason. Not a slight on Beason, but Willis is the best inside linebacker in the league.

I think the only thing that seperates beason and willis are their physical traits. Beason just isn't a manbeast like willis so he falls a little behind. But to not even have him on the list is shameful. It's scary to think about the defense without him.

Peppers- Has done just enough to deserve a spot.

Beason- If he doesn't get in someone is gonna get.

Kalil- Has been solid and deserves it.

Williams- May not play because of injury

Smitty- Probably has an alternate but wouldn't play anyway because of injury

I pretty much agree...EXCEPT, IMO, J-Stew is TWICE the running back of Pierre Thomas. We should have both RB's on the list. Hell, both are 1,000 yard backs...and our running game has (re)become dominant.
