Two moments that told me how much confidence the coaches had in Moore

Moore may start, but we still need to draft a young QB to groom.

Nah. Why waste a draft pick for a young QB to groom if we got a young QB in Moore? Moore already starting to look like a QB, so why ruin that?

I like Matt so much, I will even let him have sex with Hayden.

Hopefully you're not refering to Nick Hayden. Next time use the full name than just Hayden, folks!!!

I agree ^^^and I also will add to your quote. When I saw Julius Peppers come out to greet Matt Moore with a huge grin and a hand slap, I knew the team had confidence in him right then. I can't remember anytime seeing that type of gratitude from Peppers for Jake Delhomme. Matt Moore may be the reason Pepp sgns a long term contract!!

Pep sign a long term contract already? I didn't know that. :P

But seriously, I think Meeks is the reason why Pep might sign a long term contract if he does, not who the QB is. And Pep may have cheer Jake as well when he was winning like he did to Moore, but not this season though. ;)

Moore isnt a Franchise QB yet. I still want someone next year that is capable of leading our team besides Moore. Not saying he wont be a starter but if he struggles I want someone that can come in and lead the team.

Tom Brady was not a Franchise QB starting out ether but Ryan Leaf was.

I thought Moore had starter written all over him in 07. Not trying to say I told you so or anything but this offense is clicking with Moore in the game, it is not anemic. It was evident when he played in 07 and it's evident now. The offense works and we convert 3rd downs where as we are terribly inconsistent with Jake at the helm. And it is also in part due to the players responding well to Moore's play. It will be interesting to see if he can still play this well next season when there is plenty of tape on him. But thus far he has earned the right to be the Panthers QB. Jake hasn't earned it in a long time.
