As someone who has questioned Moore's arm strength...

yea moore made great throws and i was really impressed with him. none of his throws looked like they were horrible. An interesting question i have is if McCoy had anything to do with matts recent success. A theory i have is he taught moore to better himself and moore has recently caught a better grip of things like footwork or trustin arm strength.

Glad that you pointed that out. Good point

They tried messing with Jake mechanics as they say, and that was one of the reasons he's sucked

Moore has the same arm he has always had as far as I know so not sure why it took this long to figure out his arm isn't weak.

Unless of course he had cybernetics implanted in his arm this last week.

Moore just tries to put too much touch on the ball. Never meant his arm was weak. Plus it's expected that he get better with more reps with the first team.(crazy I know)

Funny how the many people who had questions about his arm strength, had actual plays that they could point to, to illustrate their concerns while those who put them down had no proof except their word.

Forgive me for hesitating to believe the "trust me, it's fine. I have no proof but I believe it in my heart" crowd. (crazy I know)

Talking about velocity, not distance. Moore was lofting rainbows on deep balls in the prior two games and was overthrowing the short stuff.

He didn't show any of that today and was zipping the ball around. Nice to see.

Moore is improving game by game. It has caused a chain reaction throughout the whole team and coaching staff. This team believes they can beat anybody now and are playing like it. Fox isn't afraid Moore will screw it up and is letting them play.

IMO, the overthrows seemed to be a case of the jitters. If you noticed, he settled down and played pretty well in the second half of both of the last two games. In the NE game, a lot of stupid penalties hurt us, and of course he was golden in the 4th qtr of the Minnesota game.

Sometimes, its best to throw rainbows if you have a receiver that can run under. Most important thing was that with those rainbows, he was hitting Smith in stride. Do that, and you have a good shot. Make the receiver slow down, or have to turn around and wait on the ball as Steve did with Jake, and you get a lot of interceptions, and missed throws.

I agree. One of the nicest things to see today was that he didn't have a crappy 1st quarter. He came out calm, dead accurate and in control of his throws. He's progressed game to game, but today really changed my opinion of him.

Edit: Another thing was that he was really floaty the first two games, even on the short stuff. I was really doubting his arm strength, but I guess it was a confidence thing, because he showed plenty of arm today. Good game for him.
