ESPN already mentioning Fox as a replacement for Urban Meyer

I'm still straddling the fence if I want Fox gone or not. The main reason being because of all the retooling, rebuilding that will probably take place, and that usually doesn't put a winning team on the field for a couple of years. USUALLY....not always the case, but usually.

All I know is, it doesn't look good when you are an NFL coach, and they are suggesting you for a college coaching position. Embarrassing if you ask me.

in all honestly, i wouldn't be too upset if he left. i would like to see hurney gone and delhomme. if jake is still around though, it will be to tempting for fox to put him in at some point. so, ok.... fox gone too!

I think Meyer has a brain tumor. He's lost a lot of weight this year and SI mentioned it (although they said it was benign) in a story on him earlier this year.

Idk, we've also heard Fox was likely to stay around after this season... That being said, I think if Fox is let go by us, YES it would be a great fit. I think his style (player's coach, motivational, clap 'em up, etc.) is excellent for college football. He might be one of the best coaches in the NCAA if he went.
