There are alot of rumors that Dwill could get traded for a high 1st round pick. i don't think it will happen but it might. Most likely peppers will be traded for a 1st round pick, but to what team idk. lets say we get a 1st rd pick & a 4th for peppers. here is a mock of the draft for the Panthers if he does get traded.

1-Earl Thomas-S-Texas

5'10, 197 lbs

2-Eric Decker-WR-Minnesota

6'3, 215 lbs

3-Dan Lefevour-QB-Central Michigan

6'3, 230 lbs

3(compusation pick)-Brandon Lang-DE-Troy

6'4, 256 lbs

3(compusation pick)-Vladimir Ducasse-OG-Massachusetts

6'5, 330 lbs

4-Colin Peek-TE-Alabama

6'5, 255 lbs

4-Stephen Virgil-CB-Virginia Tech

5'11, 190 lbs

6-Stevenson Sylvester-OLB-Utah

6'2, 230 lbs

7-Trindon Holliday-WR/RB/KR-LSU

5'5, 165 lbs

I HATE the first pick. Why would we trade into the first round to pick a safety? Safety is a need, but not nearly the top. If we don't pick a quarterback, receiver, or defensive lineman with our first pick, someone needs to die unless it's an extreme case of BPA.

I'm fine with Decker.

I don't like the LeFevour pick there. There's a decent chance that either Canfield or McCoy would be available in the early 3rd round, both would be better choices there. However, I really hope we're picking a quarterback in the 1st (if we trade up) or 2nd round.

You're off with the compensatory picks. They'll be 6th rounders more than likely. Even if they were 3rd rounders, why would you go with some unproven guys that play against weak competition with Lang and Ducasse? Especially if there are better choices like Bama's Mike Johnson (OG) and LSU's Rahim Alem (DE) still there? And since receiver is such a massive need, it would make sense to choose a receiver with one of those bonus 3rd rounders (which we won't have) like a Riley Cooper.

We don't need yet another mid-round tight end pick. That's just wasting a pick.

And picking a player, even in the 7th round, that's actually shorter and weighs less than I do is just throwing away another pick. A guy that tiny won't do anything in the NFL. Trindon Holliday makes Darren Sproles and Pittsburgh's little midget return guy look like behemoths. If you want an undersized guy in the 7th round that might have high boom/bust potential, I'd go after Armanti Edwards.

you are right on a few things like holliday, and earl thomas. but, what if mike johnson isnt there? what if alem isnt there? lang has had a great career at troy and ducasse is getting alot of attention even though he does play at umass. most likely someone will take a chance on mccoy in the 1st round.

school the guy went to is irrelevent. tallent is tallent. i dont mind the lang pick at all. the earl thomas pick, oh hell, i dont get that one at all.

i also dont like that we are going with brown, cj and brayton as the rotation at DE if we trade pep ( lang fits in too, but is he on peps level or anyone else we have atm? no). that sounds scary. i would look at james hardy in your draft(would do so even if we dont move pep, dude is straight monster, if he is healthy). also i hate that we stand pat with our soft interior line, in a draft LOADED at DT (mostly ut, but lewis and all his backups are not special). i would look at athur jones and marvin austin in the 1st or 2nd, or at least oghobaase later in the draft.

You sure about that?

Yeah I'm pretty sure. Look...I like Matt Moore, I think he has the potential to be a good QB in this league. But right now he doesn't have great arm strength and that is a must in order to be an elite QB.

He only has one more game to showcase his ability and honestly no matter what he does I think that getting another young QB in here to compete is something that has to be done. You can't go wrong with having too many good, young QBs.
