I currently live in Boston, pal. From NC. I stand by my statement

Living in Boston does nothing for your statement. I live in MD now, after a 20 year military career, I’ve lived and been all over the world.  This attitude of hatred or disdain toward “others” is a problem no matter where you’re at.

I’d much rather have someone with Carolina roots own the Panthers than someone from up north.   That has nothing to do with hate or being scared of people.

we have an older stadium.  Tepper has no attachment to the area.  End of the day, it’s just money and business to him.  Even if low, he brings higher risk of a move down the road.

Being afraid that someone not from the area will move the team is a rational stance. Not wanting a “yankee” owner is not. (What American even calls people Yankees any more? It’s not the 1800s, the civil war is over.)

Didn’t Jerry “Spartanburg” Richardson use the LA card as leverage for the 2012-13 updates?

And even though it’s a rational stance, I’d much rather deal with the 1% chance he’ll move the team than the 100% chance he won’t learn from mistakes and refuse to admit them and stay stuck in the past.

Sampson county

yeah that figures.  More inhumanely raised hogs than humans by a huge number.  Glad you saw the world and came back to your hell on earth.  Good for you.  Wise choice.  Smells like money when you get up in the morning I'm sure.

"And no, I'm not kidding. Millions. Sampson County is the hog capital of North Carolina. And in fact, as I learned from a pork industry website, it's the pig capital of the United States, with more than 1.8 million hogs on the hoof. "

Yeah, remember it, because that will probably be the LAST time the Panthers make it to a superbowl in our lifetime.

That team had a personality and put the league on notice.  The NFL wasn't having it, and to this day I still think sending the defending NFC champs on the road to open against the team they just lost to in a poorly officiated Super Bowl was intended to send a message to Cam and the Panthers that the league belongs to us, not you, and you need to know your place.

Yea, I worked on my uncles pig farm when I was a kid.  Stank, but not as bad as the chicken farms.  And..uh I said I live in Maryland now. When I’m ready to settle down back in NC it won’t be in Sampson county. Probably closer to Charlotte
