So ESPN thinks we'll trade DWill for a high first round pick

We don't have to trade either of them and if Moore continues to progress then we won't need a 1st round pick. Williams and Stewart make most of the plays in this offense there is no reason take 1/2 of that out. I'd rather franchise Pep and trade him some where for two 3rd rounders than get that 1st round pick. It's just not worth it. Moore can be the guy he's the one I have to have some faith in right now.

Williams and Stewart have the opportunity to be something very rare together. We're talking 2 of the top 6-7 most talent RBs in the league on 1 team. They could seriously be legendary. We can only hope that both Dlo and Jstew can see that and that the FO can see that. Beyond that it's not in our hands. I don't want to see it happen but obviously Williams does hold value.

I really really hope Moore is the answer at QB. Maybe he's just rusty from not getting any starts, but few times on that offense, he did look lost out there. If he's not the answer, then what do we have? DWill looking for a big paycheck which we can't provide because Peppers will never sign a tender. No QB and no WR and teams just brining in as many as they can in the box to shut down the run. We need to be 50-50 when it comes to pass/run just like we were in '03. And if you think Stewart would always be content with coming off the bench, you're mistaken. He's doing it now because he still young and still learning.

Its risky, but it has paid off before in the past.

Indy traded Marshall Faulk to the Rams, someone they would have lost in FA anyways and drafted a guy named Edgerrin James to replace him. One of the shrewdess moves in the last decade.

First round draft picks are hit miss.. Especially QB's and WR. Maybe if we were in serious need of a Tackle or something and one of those can't miss 15 year left tackles show up. But other than that, there is quality in the 2nd -5th round this draft. We will be fine as long as we don't panic.

Even still the Panther once agains relay on getting lucky to make it work.

I'd rather trade Peppers and Stewart for a first round QB than Williams alone.

I think there are A LOT of you guys underestimating Williams, he is basically this teams offense. If they trade him not only will it crush our offense but he will just tear up the NFL somewhere else.

Trade Peppers and Stewy for a top 10 and some cap space, there you have a QB and able to keep Williams.

Maybe we should trade Smitty for some special teams since we really need help there, huh?

I'm sorry but any offseason moves should be used to invest in a legitimate WR. Someone who can stretch the field with Smitty.

Matt Moore can spread the ball around, make the smarter pass, and keep the defense off the field.

I may be the minority but outside of playcalling/decisions/coaching the biggest holes we have are at WR and special teams playmaking.

With Jake on IR and with Matt getting plenty of first team reps, don't be suprised if we ruin the Giants playoff hopes.

(write that down)

Makes no damn sense at all.

Doesn't anyone remember 05. We lost our entire running game. Why do we want to burden Stewart or Williams with the FULL load. And if he went down we are right back to 05 again.

The Front Office has built this team to run. We have arguable the best O-Line in the league. We clearly have the best tandem OTs in the game and we have the best RB tandem in the game. This is the only thing that kept us from battling the Lions and Rams for the cellar.

Whoever reported this at ESPN needs to put the crackpipe down and slowly back up. I will be shocked.

Clausen in NOT the answer. He had leadership problems at ND. We don't need a headcase at QB remember David Carr?

Here is what we do.

1. Lets Peppers walk.

2. Find a top of the line Free Agent WR

3. Sign our Free Agents because our backups are as good as any in the league.

4. Appease all the whiners and draft a midround QB.

All will be well in Pantherland

GO Panthers

lol at people bringing up Stewart's "injury history" when DeAngelo is about to miss his second straight game.

I think they are just more worried about Stewart long time because he has had injuries nagging him constantly ever since college. Between his toe and his Achilles, there it's reasonable to be worried. Of course, on the other hand, it also shows he can play while injured to an extent.
