really doubt the Panthers would get a high first rounder for D-Will, and that's the only trade I'd take for him in draft picks. player-wise, that... could depend... dunno who would be on the trading block though...

I don't like the idea of trading a proven player for a draft pick that could turn out to be a huge bust. I think Matt Moore is capable of being our starting QB next season so why not stick with the running game we have and use our 2nd round pick to either draft or trade for a WR. I wouldn't mind trading our 2nd and 3rd for Anquan Boldin because I think us not having a #2 WR to take pressure of Smitty is what has been holding us back for years. Just imagine teams trying to stop not only 2 of the best RB's but 2 of the best WR's as well... can you say SUPER BOWL?!?!?!

Yeah its great to have 2 guys like Williams and Stewart...if everyone could have that then nobody would get rid of them. However, this is a supply and demand league and DWill and Stewart will both command big time dollars...so what do you do when you have to resign Dwill after next year???

We should have D-will play out next year, as his contract is not up until after the 2010 season. Then trade him. If I'm not wrong Stewart is signed until the end of the 2012 season. This gives us time to use both for one more year. Next year looks to be a good year for us. Not to worried about next year as long as Jake is not the QB and we draft a real #1 type WR or get one in FA.

We live and die by the run. We have two running backs that understand our goal in prolonging their careers by sharing the load.

ESPN is grasping at straws for NFL news. That sounds about as good and believable story as any. Generate alot of fan feedback.

I don't think we need to draft a QB. Let Moore have a chance. This year's crop of QBs' is rated as 'weak' by the NFL scouts. I don't think we need a first round pick this year to address our needs. There are some good WR prospects out there, some of whom will no doubt be available after the first round. We need guys who can play on the special teams.

I think we made a mistake in letting Jake go. Jake shouldn't start, and his salary is way too high for a backup, but we STILL HAVE TO PAY HIM FOR THIS YEAR, so he could have paid some possible dividends in helping to school Moore in our system. But, that ain't going to happen now, obviously. And we're still stuck with his contract..
