Oh no doubt Cross was the better pass protector. Icky was the higher ceiling rawer prospect. Cross was also drafted below Neal.

Here is Neal, Icky, and Cross as a distant 3rd. They were skeptical of that air raid fast pace offense at Miss St.

Either way, somethings wrong with him now. He needs to re-focus or something.

There is a saying that comes to mind.

Best laid plans of mice and men.

There is the....

Want to make God laugh?

Tell him your plans.

NFL, much like life, doesn't often go the way we want, no matter how well we make decisions,  and no matter our intentions.

Nobody on the staff invisioned this kind of start.

While some may want to give up and tank... there is a lot of football left, ND I'm going to continue to enjoy watching our team make plays, players develop, and hopefully win every game they can.

Losing Brady was bigger than we might think. Now we have two new guards…a rookie at LG and an unknown dude at RG. Throw in a rookie QB and basically new starting WR’s. Losing DJ Moore was huge. TMJ appears to be a 2nd round bust as a rookie WR Mingo got the start in front of him. I also think the Panthers undervalued Foreman. Losing the running game this year has killed this offense.
I also think if Dalton played against Atlanta and Saints the Panthers are 2-1.

Did you not watch the game?  Where was this 3+ scores?

In football, a 17-point deficit is a 3-score deficit. In the English language, “3+” means “3 or more.”

also note that every pass in this garbage-time TD drive that accounted for 75 of those yards was a short throw against Prevent, which is much more impressive than doing it a week ago because reasons

Don’t forget against the 31st out of 32 ranked pass defense coming in with its 2 starting CBs inactive too.

Seeing People get excited and point out how much better Dalton did this week vs what Bryce did weeks 1-2

Is like watching another fan base get excited and thump their chest because their DL got a lot of pressures against our OL.

I will say that it doesn’t make much difference which QB plays, the coach, OL and defense suck bad enough that no one can win a game with this shitwreck

    • Soooo many bad turnovers again. Luckily Martin played well.
    • Yes. Cade 100% tripped and pitched it to Mafah.  That’s not in dispute.  We agree on that.  Mafah got the ball, fell to the ground and then attempted to complete the rest of the play….which was the lateral to the WR on the end around.  You are calling the lateral from Mafah to the end around WR the ball popping up.   It was whistled dead.   Then they ran another play.  the review then awarded the ball to SC after we ran another play for what happened after a play was whistled dead.   How does that part work lol?  How do you recover a ball if a play was whistled dead for a downed player prior to a recovery?  I think the refs screwed Clemson twice.   That’s not why they lost.  Please don’t think that is my argument.   They lost because Cade chocked and panicked at the end.  They lost because Sellers should have been put on the ground for a loss countless times and they didn’t.  They lost because our over loyal Dabo wouldn’t bench his favorite hurt RB.    Clemson lost for lots of reasons. SC deserved to win.  Those calls were bad though IMO.  They exist in every game.
    • I can’t recall an NBA team with this many injuries.  It’s getting absurd at this point
