I Doubt Delhomme Retires

Well thank you for f**king ruining my Christmas....asshat.

I think his last 12 games says everything that needs to be said. Practice is one thing, but when the games count, Jake is poo and needs to go away. But if he is the starter, might as well write off the 2010 season now!

:D

Jake can't quit now without the risk of getting his kneecaps busted. He made a lot of money for a LOT of people off of the playoff game against Arizona, and this year as well.

We all know how that goes.....once you are in, you are in.....and there ain't no getting out without consequences.

Capeche?

The angst has begun.

Right now Moore is the starter and the guy who has the franchise in his hands. Jake isn't going to retire just like so many before him. Some like Favre even came back from retirement to play well but he is the exception for sure. Jake is going to play as long as he is able or thinks he can whether that is as a starter or a backup. I would rather at this point turn the ball over to him when he is healthy for a game or 2 as a backup than I would McCown, Feeley or most guys in free agency. At this point Moore is the starter and if he wins the last 2 games, he is going to be everyone's favorite for the starting job next year.

I say lets wait to see how things shake out the rest of the year and with the coaching situation before worrying about retirement or who the starter is going to be. Alot can change in the next 6 months.
