Worst secondary in the league?

Saying we have the worst secondary in the league is one of the silliest things I have seen on this board. At very least, its top 10 as far as silliest things said.

We are not even the worst pass defense in the NFC South. Both the Saints and the Falcons are worse.

They only ran the ball on consecutive downs once all game. I think our secondary is far from trash. We could definitely be making more plays with about the 15th drop int of the year today. The pressure was stout and we gave many different looks up front and blitz packages. Don't worry people, we hopefully get healthy these next two weeks and put on a show to whoever comes to our house. I thought we did well under the circumstances, and totally shutting down Denver the other week proves we are capable of defending the pass and getting pressure. I am more concerned about a team that actually runs the ball, the Saints were decent running today but were too ignorant to keep at it. This is by far the best Panther team and I could see an Indy matchup coming.

12-4 is awesome and I'm beyond happy, but giving up leads in our last two games concerns me. Need to be perfect to make it to the Super Bowl.

Not true. The part that's been working has to keep working,, and the parts that haven't been need to pick it up for a few weeks. It really about putting it all together for a few games in a row.

Its certainly an issue. My primary concern is Lewis and Kemo. We need them to get back and be healthy and that will help (but not solve) our defensive problems.

But for today, its all about enjoying the win.

John Fox also seems to be a playoff coach..as in the Panthers seem to take it up a notch once the win or go home game start...hopefully that still holds true

It was an 80/20 Pass-Run ratio so the numbers aren't that surprising.

Okay, but the 3 TDs in the 4th quarter still aren't excused by that ratio.
