You don't cut him in this situation (there is no one better or as good, it would hurt the team probably) if he is trying and being a good teammate. 

If he is being a bad teammate, has an attitude, you cut the hell out of him even if you have to make Dalton play his position.

I've never been a D-Jax fan.  There's a reason you don't fall in love with players in that test well in their underwear.  Dude has great straight line speed.  How does that equate to being an effective DB?  Very little.

11/10/22 - Jackson tears his Achilles. Jackson was never that good to start with.

03/16/23 - Fitt restructures Jackson's contract. That dude drives me crazy.

Thank you! I was scrolling in the thread wondering if anyone would acknowledge DJack is a corner that is coming off an Achilles injury that relied on athleticism.

It definitely takes time for a corner or wide receiver. Im hopeful that this year Jackson will  learn to read his keys better, which will make him a smarter corner. As 80 to 90 % of his quick twitch explosion returns,  he will hopefully be a better player.
